I am also more on the Dark Side here. Quite significant differences ....

One of his best tracks ever. That justifies 15/15 pts.
This is the Berlin version

Tony Levin's Road diary gives little insights about the stage and setlist of this tour.
Please avoid this thread if you want to see the show without any knowledge
Darkness and Growing Up have been rehearsed, so has been Live And Let Live, which may be the next track from i/o to be released in June. Peter mentioned the track a while ago in one of his videos.
Also, the crew will be in orange suits again.
Tony's Road Diary is just stunning - and has always been! Lots of details even when he doesn't reveal much. Can't wait to see the show (but will have to wait a bit ...)

Just two days to go. It's getting real
-
Not too much activity on bandcamp recently ... I hope we will see more different mixes, extras etc - as we were used to during the first three months. Just the two mixes from each song isn't enough to justify a full moon club membership, imo.

14/15
One of their outstanding tracks from their later Period (or maybe second half?). Probably also the one track where you can easily say it's Tony's. After that it wasn't until Calling all stations I could find a typical Tony track again.

Peter has an exceptional vocal condition for his age...if you compare to Phil Collins. The vocal reinforcement can be useful if he runs out of steam during very rhythmic songs.
Does he? Hard to tell, isn't it? We haven't seen him perform in 7+ years, but I also hope you are right.

interesting version. There is more enjoyable stuff on the record, I can recommend this!
-
... and now Playing For Time (Up Tempo Time) is available for all bandcamp subscribers
That's really interesting, isn't it?
I understand Peter that he followed another path with that song but I like this "listen to another version of that song" approach. Hope to get more of that from future releases!

I know some people rave about this and see it as some sort of return to prog ways. I've never seen it like that, it seems to me to fit perfectly on Invisible Touch and, along with TTT and Domino, provides a balance to the shorter songs. I quite like it and I thought it was a good decision to play it live. Good skittering drums over a nice track and Tony having fun with his noises. Good, but not top drawer for me.
same here ... 10 pts
I would have preferred "Do The Neurotic" on that record.

I'd really like if Peter
I'd really prefer if we'll get recordings of some of the old unreleased tracks, like John has ea headachem, Why don't we, ecc....
maybe he saves that stuff for some kind of archive boxset?

9 from me. I think all other tracks on Foxtrot are better than this one. It sometimes takes off (the start is really stunning), but then it stumbles and isas chaotic as Battle of Epping Forest on the next album
-
12 from me
I always wonder why Ant stopped producing prog/rock records with a real band. There's so much potential.
-
I do prefer the bright-side mix, actually. The last part comes in better I think. It's less "wall of sound" like.
Peter has announced a band version for the Bandcampers. THAT should be interesting.
That's something I'm looking forward to hearing as well!
Nevertheless the bandcamp thing is a good deal for fans. Undercurrents was released quite unexpectedly.

It's a good read! I highly recommend this book. This is interesting for anybody who wants to dive deep into the world of The Lamb.
The author also hints more books about other albums will follow. Looking forward to reading them!

That's a clear 15/15!
Without a doubt one of his best tracks ever. Love it!
-
I must say it's a shame they didn't include more from the 1998 show. "The Dividing Line" sounds really great!
Apparently (some? or all?) the US pressing has a misprint issue, the first two tracks are in the wrong order.
Now how can that happen?
-
Any dEUS fans here? The new album is pretty good!

Finally, Big Big Train are on tour again and will also do several shows in mainland Europe. I saw them a couple of years ago on the Loreley. They now have a new singer after the sad death of David Longdon.

It's an interesting album, but it will take some time until I really can say whether or not I like it.
