And concerning USA/Canada/Mexico dates, it will be probably more for next autumn than the summer. There are some arenas would be not available this summer. But... Is he do an arena or an amphitheater run for the USA leg?
I doubt he's doing Mexico this time. They said dates take place in late August and September, so we can assume venues have been blocked long ago.
Peter also did amphitheaters in the states, i.e. Red Rocks etc.

I think it just looks that way because of the clear vinyl.
Anyway, I guess the picture is a staged mock-up of a record that doesn't actually exist yet, kind of like this one appears to be (see my reply to the original post).
obviously ...
I'm not really excited. Was hoping for a Genesis release.

No, neither is top notch, I've been wondering whether my assessment is the result of too long a wait or pent-up expectations but after several listens I simply believe they are average songs.
Panopticom was nice but not really outstanding. This one works better for me. It’s quite unusual even for Gabriel and it grows, which is a good sign!

12 from me
First thought was this is a 14 but when you compare this to some genesis classics it’s still a great track but nonetheless not quite as outstanding as others (Dukes Travels for example)

Sad news indeed. He also worked with Oldfield earlier or around the time he was in GTR.
R.I.P. -
I was looking for this album a while ago as well and found it on ebay for 15EUR (sealed), which was ok. A reprint, maybe with bonus tracks, would be great. It's a good album.

It's hard to find a track in Phil's solo catalogue that is as good as this one.

Sadly, David Crosby has died. He worked a lot with Phil so maybe it is a good idea to share some music by DC?
I will start with the obvious (and I am curious to learn what his best solo stuff would be)

This could be a nice offer! So let's just wait for the next full moon to see if it's worth the money.

Wonderful! Will read later, but this is great!

I don't understand. Why don't they just make a box set with all the complete recordings of the BBC sessions and concerts? Some tracks might appear more than once, so what?
-
What? 55 years ago??? I think we are all getting very old ... rapidly.
My rating is 8, I like the melody, but nothing really happens here. Then again, remember they were like 17 back then ...

Fascinating. Not at all my cup of tea, but again some great findings. Well done, guys!

A classic, perhaps the best track the Mechanics have done over the years.!
13/15

oh, yes please!
Was waiting for this. The PG Compendium is just awesome! I'm sure the AP is similar, but most of his music is not my cup of tea.
Curious what I will learn about Collins

It's ok and there are obviously good reasons why this never ended up on W&W. A bit of a fun track maybe? 8pts

thanks for sharing. Saw this earlier today on YouTube. Still wonder if footage from other tracks exists, i.e. Way of the world ...?

Merry x-mas to all of you. Hope you can relax a bit.

That's great news. The snippet is pretty organic / sounds like only real instruments were used. Probably Peter didn't use a lot of programming stuff on i/o? We will find out soon, I guess.
