I actually like Phil singing the older stuff (same with Ray, by the way). The quality of this video is just great. Thanks for sharing (hope more is coming)

Hey everybody
I read the article „Making of I/O“ on this website:
https://www.genesis-news.com/c…he-Making-Of-IO-s161.html
So, after years of exploring the past and doing orchestra stuff, now it’s time for new new new music. I know there were hints some years ago a new album might be in the final mixing stage l, but I believe Peter’s wife also got sick back then.
I also believe Peter will at least do one more tour. But for me, a new album is more important.
What do you think? Will we see a new studio album? And when?

Wow
It’s just great what appears on YouTube all the time. Big thanks for sharing, that was fun to watch!

I have the album. Don’t play it very often but Little man what now and waverly steps are great tracks. I agree that Rose of Damascus is less interesting than expected.
Fish did stronger albums in the past (Vigil, Raingods etc)

I am not a big TOTO fan, but without any doubt they are a great rock band and of course incredible musicians. I think Leland Sklar also played with them for a while.
Stealing tracks ... wenn compared to the 1999/Sussudiio thing in the 80ies, this Toto/Biber thing is not only obvious, but also very impudent!Hope this will sorted

Been listening a lot to the second PG album recently. An album full of strange but beautiful songs. Underrated for sure.

I thought it was pretty cool when he did a couple of tracks for / with Tony solo, especially on the "Still" record.. I also think he was one of the candidates to replace Phil, if my memory is correct?

The video of the performance has appeared on YouTube

Happy birthday!
Love his Mechanics vocals (ghost of sex and you) - some of his solo stuff as well (Groove approved, Blue views, Grooving) and especially the tracks he did for Steve on genesis revisited!

apparently Mike states about the September shows "I can't see it at the moment" ...
that's not really a big surprise, sadly. But I heard live shows with 5,000 people are happening again in the UK? can anyone say more about this?

I enjoyed "The Gabriel Years" a lot and although I am not the biggest fan of the era after Steve left, I will surely get this one as well. I wish more books from Mario were available in english!

I don't have this album, but it sounds like a good idea to get this. Thanks for sharing this review!

Phil is always a bit stuck in the "ballad" category, but when you look closer, you find out that his range is simply astonishing, from Prog, Fusion, Rock, Pop, Big Band, Soundtracks, Motown etc. Then THAT drum sound, the biggest drum fill ever etc ...
But one thing remains true: his best album was his first.

I have both albums but haven't even noticed this track is on both
Tried to check your observation, but can't find what you mentioned. Will check again later when I have more time.

Dusk, Stagnation, White mountain
The knife would have been an obvious choice, but I like the short version more, so I have picked those three instead.
Dusk is also an all time Genesis favorite of mine.

has anybody received his her copy yet? I have now ordered mine, but still waiting.
any feedback so far?

Lamb, Pound & Touch.
My desert island Genesis.
That's a unique combination. Can you describe why IT is on one level like Lamb and SEBTP for you?
