Arnold McCuller, a longtime member of the Phil Collins band, has ended his stage career. McCuller, who turned 72 this year, declared on his Facebook page that his life on tour was over. He is now retired. Genesis fans are most familiar with McCuller for being one of the key backup singers in Phil Collins' band. McCuller had been with the band since 1990. Among other tracks, he sang lead vocals during the live performances of the world hit Easy Lover (YouTube: 1990 | 1997 | 2005 | 2019).
McCuller has played with James Taylor, among others, and is also known for his performance with Lyle Lovett at the White House in 2014, as well as his rendition of the national anthem in the feature film Sum Of All Fears.
