Now there’s an idea. I’ve banked a few thoughts on videos to make which comically get things off my chest about contemporary idiocy and your question has lit a bulb in me. Thank you. I’ll give you credit when I get round to it. A big announcement at the beginning about the book I’m reading today, then I’ll read a chapter to myself in silence (save for the usual reminder to like, share and subscribe) and that’ll be pretty much it. I guarantee there will be a market for this; it might even…

Exciting times for Phil Collins fans... the interview shows him looking healthier than he has in years. My interpretation (which no doubt many will disagree with!) is that he has no new product to promote, and of course the catalogue is owned by Concord now... so his likely motivation for doing such prestigious interview is a soft-launch for a desire to do something new in his 75th year. He's two years sober and has a live in carer and, but there's a definite shift in tone from early 2025, when…

What you say above is EXACTLY the reason why I dare not research this Dunnery bloke at all, lest I get bombarded with "eh eup, Ih'm a Nohhthrener wit chip ont shoaldur" videos. As for these "reaction" videos, I am at an utter loss (like many, many things in life) to understand;
1. The point
2. What the interest is in literally watching a somebody listen to music. (are there similar videos where you can literally watch another somebody reading a book?)
Anyway, I heard that what with…

For me, this is one of his best tracks. I gave 15 points, although I do probably appreciate other tracks a bit more. But they are all in my 15ers club then!
Harold replied to the thread PETER GABRIEL - "Been Undone" - track discussion.
The new "Full Moon" version on Bandcamp (which apparently is a pre-band demo) shows some interesting facts: It relates strongly to the Dark-side mix. So obviously Peter had quite a "final" idea what this should sound like.
The bit starting at 5:12 obviously dates back and surely is the bit from 1996 Peter has mentioned. His voice sounds very different.
So, this demo is a nice addition for the Bandcampers!
Ben replied to the thread 40 years of MIKE + THE MECHANICS (debut album).
This first album sound very dated. Not my favourite.
