After the great feedback we have received for our Peter Gabriel Recording Compendium, we have started another one.
The ANTHONY PHILLIPS Recording Compendium covers Ant's complete career and the first two chapters are now online (1966-1976 and The Library Works).

The correct titles for the September 1969 demos listed there:
Ballad of Doubt/Trust is the subtitle for What Is The Meaning
Win Old Friend should be Wise Old Friend, which in turn is a working title for Beside The Waters Edge
Devicly Shure should be Darkly Shone, a.k.a. Darkly Shone The Night
Two other tracks mentioned there are on the list of possible songs to record but Ant and Mike ultimately didn't record them:
Morning Meal - should be Morning Mist
Leaving for Eye - should be Leamington Spa

Thanks so much. I am waiting for the box set release on the 28th. There are a lot of songs with no available music. That depresses me because I want it all. By listing those songs you have spoiled my day (in a good way) because now I will always be wondering what those songs would have sounded like.

yes. The initial plan was to have the Collins compendium first, but things evolved differently. It will take a lot of this year to put all parts of the Phillips compendium online. So don’t expect the next one too soon.
