Of course it is Phil‘s son. Das nominated for his work with Genesis (live)
His own bands (fifty eight hundred, better strangers) were not relevant for this nomination
Thanks Foxtrot
Have translated your post for our German forum, see here
Watch Misunderstanding here
Misunderstanding always did well in America. Its a shame they couldn't just include it rather take away another.
both are tracks from Duke, from this perspective, it makes sense …
Also, keep in mind everybody is surprised this show is longer than 2 hours anyway.
From the USA article it seems that Europe was only intended to be UK, Ireland and not mainland, but Covid changed that.
Given the situation in Europe developing, fingers crossed for March .... its a long way to go yet
it’s the other way round. They surely planned west coast and mainland Europe, then covid postponements got in the way. In the end some European dates became possible again due to the London reschedules
No, see Chicago thread (first post) for details
I don't think they've made any announcement yet on Glasgow. I suppose it's possible they can still sandwich that one in before London. (Though I do predict it will eventually be cancelled.)
where could that possibly be sandwiched? No space!
They had plans for Europe and West Coast, but COVID has had its effect. Sad, but that’s how it is now.
Mike Rutherford & Tony Banks told USA Today that the tour will end in March 2022 in London.

This means there won't be any further shows in North America, Europe or elsewhere.
Looks like Duchess has been replaced by Misunderstanding …
Following recent events (the sad passing of John Goodsall), we have updated part III of our website special about the history of Brand X
Display MoreFirst post on the boards - Hey everybody. Long time ‘Lurker’.
I’ll be at both nights and am beyond excited - especially considering these will be the first shows in the states since 2007 and likely the last (tour).
I wager I’m a bit younger than everyone else here, so consider yourself warned with my inevitable opinions that might ruffle a few of your feathers (Genesis related of course).
I’ll be in Chicago in less than 24 hours. Hard to believe the time has finally come. 👍🏼
welcome to our forum. Enjoy the shows and let us know how you liked it!
We also habe the album poll here:
Your favorite tracks on ... "Nursery Cryme"
And a nice article from 1999 about the album:

It appears that
Misunderstanding
will be played in North America. I wonder what track will be kicked out of the set for that. Or will this. Be played as an add on?
For those who want to read more about John‘s involvement with Brand X, read our website special about the band here
Recorded with two cams and soundbaord sound in one of Ray's favorite venues in Germany.
For everybody who has seen the current tour in the meantime (or will do that shortly), you may add this in the poll on page 1
Since 204? Other fan clubs would be proud of such a long tradition. I mean yes, it's not that long - but which fan club could trace its origins back to the original Genesis?...
204 was a special year for us. For everybody. But of course it wasn't until 2004 that this became relevant for the internet
yes, 30 years. Of course, our English outlet here (Genesis News Com) hasn't been around THAT long (since 2004), but nevertheless the team looks back at some 30 years full of music, projects, surprises, disappointments, passion etc.
Most of all, we are VERY grateful for your interest and support. Thank you!
