For a couple of months, possible Genesis band activities for this year have been rumoured. So far, we know that Genesis have been working on a new BBC documentary called Together And Apart (see news item here), which will be aired later this year (in October). A DVD and Blu-ray release is also planned. Besides that, any release in connection with the 40th Lamb-anniversary is expected by most fans, but nothing has been officially announced yet.
In the meantime Phil Collins is currently rehearsing with his band to check out whether or not he would be able to perform complete shows and go on tour again. For a couple of years, Collins simply was unable to perform live. Word has spread that he's feeing better these days and the man himself has announced comeback plans. The rehearsals will show whether or not that will include a tour.
Today, the official Genesis Facebook-paage has revealed a new logo, which has the size of a possible release, actually. The "exciting news" will be revealed tomorrow, so stay tuned for more details.
