Mike + The Mechanics played a show in Gronau-Epe, Germany, a few days ago. German newspaper Westfälische Nachrichten has published an article about the show. Besides the fact that the band is writing new songs for a future release (we have reported that a few days ago, see this link), North American fans will be pleased that Mike Rutherford eventually mentioned North American dates for next year (during an interview for the article). You can see the full article (in German language) here. This could be a North American Leg of their 2015 HITS tour is going to happen.
If that's going to happen, it would be their first North American live appearance for nearly 20 years and their first proper North American tour since 1989. Please keep in mind that an official announcement has not been made yet. At this point, only UK-dates are confirmed for 2015 (see this link)
