I always enjoy Neil's music. My first foray into his album-oriented music was as a teenager, via the Hot August Night album that my girlfriend's parents owned. Great stuff!
Hot August Night is definitely one of the greatest live albums ever. I love it to bits.

Regarding Neil Diamond people might want to try the three albums he did with RIck Rubin where all the ornate arrangements have been stripped back & it's just a man & his guitar: 12 Songs, Home Before Dark & Melody Road.

This morning started with lying in bed with headphones listening to an album that transformed my life. I was 10 year old when I bought this album and was memorized. My journey through the music of Tangerine Dream began. Still find it emotional listening to this album
