The album was originally released on clear yellow vinyl in a shiny gold sleeve. Very cool looking! I wonder what ever happened to my copy

Feeling very nostalgic today
Great album and animated movie that brings back wonderful memories as a teenager.

Journey - 'Journey' (1975)

Journey's first 3 albums would be considered progressive rock by any standards, and I love this one the best. Steve Perry didn't arrive on the scene until the fourth album, which took the band in a radio friendly direction and they never looked back, which I feel is a shame. I do like some of the Perry-era stuff, but prefer their earlier works.

Fabric Of Reality Project - Still Life
Awesome stuff!....
Playing this right now!..........
How do you guys find the time to listen to so much music? I play albums in the car (right now, the Beatles' Anthology 1). The rest of the time I play my iPod. One of the songs I heard yesterday was Long, Long Way To Go, one of my favourite NJR songs. Does that count?!

I work from home and am fortunate to be able to listen to music 8 to 10 hours a day. Sure makes the work day go quicker

Generally play 2 to 3 albums a day during the week and more over the weekend.
I also listen to music as often as I have the occasion to (3 - 4 albums a day, at weekends even more). But differently to Noni, COT or Ned Flanders123 I do not listen to so many bands and albums. I own around 1,200 albums. But there are only around 500 albums, I listen to regularly more or less and around 200, I know every note and line of. If I get a new album, I usually keep listening to it 10 or 15 times in a row until I know it quite well. I wonder if Noni, COT or Ned can do the same considering the huge amount of albums, they have. I guess there are different approaches to listening to music. One is, to get to know as much as possible, the other one is to really get into, what you have.
I don't mean to criticize, it is just an observation.

Since I listen to music literally all day long at least 5-6 days a week, I do take the opportunity to hear albums repeatedly. Many albums require multiple listens to truly appreciate them. I probably listen to a minimum of 50 albums a week. Noni, genesis1964, Ned and I crave new music and will acquire numerous albums at a very fast pace. There is so much good music being released from all over the world that we will never satisfy our need for new music.
