40 years ago today I saw Hawkwind live for the first time (at the Gaumont, Southampton), and it remains my favourite concert. So, playing Coded Languages and Collector Series Vol 2, both recordings from the tour.

Listening to Tabletop Genesis episode 2 (Nursery Cryme)
I have listened to some of these podcasts in a random order but thought I would start listening to them in the order they came out. Listened to episode 1 (Abacab) earlier. Nice hearing other people's views of the albums

A Trick of the Tail - released in early 1976 when I was 15 and has been my favourite album ever since. A perfect album, and I was gratified to see that Rick Beato (video with Ward Carroll) included it in their list of 10 perfect albums (didn't agree with all their choices though).
