WAAAAAAALES!

A bit conflicted watching England vs Scotland, as a Londoner in my beloved adopted country of Scotland.

Ultimately I want England to win but it's a nice one as I'll still be happy if Scotland do win or if it's a draw.

No ambiguity for Mrs Backdrifter though, also a Londoner but outright rooting for Scotland.

That's what we need more of from commentators instead of "dropped a shoulder", "asking questions of the opposition" and as we had earlier, "mazy run".

Plus, "wonderful feet for a big man" should be a line in a song.

Or a line spoken by an Alan Bennett character.
