I see ratings are rather high, that surprises me a bit. But it's an enjoyable track indeed!

I never sit down and listen to lyrics carefully, so some things I remember were purely recognized by coincidence.
Darktown is one of those tracks. The lyrics are still a bit of a mystery for me. The have some sort of "Digging in the dirt" flair, but I never understood why the focus is on children here. Perhaps someone from the UK has an explanation? I assume it could have something to do with education in the UK?

Phil, by a large margin. Phil's solo music is what helped me get into Genesis in the first place. I was aware of Phil and Genesis pretty much side-by-side in the early 80s but the massive presence of No Jacket Required in 1985 made him (and by extension Genesis) hard to ignore.
I like, and appreciate, Peter's solo work but a lot of it doesn't connect with me emotionally. Much of it is good, and thought-provoking, but distant.
