What? Brother of Johnny Winer, both albinos, and both very talented. I bought their hit single back in the 70's, "Frankenstein" which may well be off this album, but was 4+ minutes of synthesizer driven gold. This live version is a bit longer:

Frankenstein is on the album 'They Only Come Out At Night.' I never saw Johnny in concert, but did see the Edgar Winter Group at the Great Western Forum in L.A. for the 'Shock Treatment' tour and twice again a few years later at smaller venues. Rick Derringer was his guitarist. Derringer started out his career in the band The McCoys, who had the hit "Hang On Sloopy." Rick's solo career gave him the big hit "Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo." He was kind of America's Steve Marriott. Both short in stature, but giants in music.

There are quite a few bands I've never heard of. My roots are mainly progressive with the old classic pop bands from the 70's and 80s. UK and the States
Though I'm aware of certain bands, there's a lot I've never listened to.
COT has been helping me out in this matter
