Saw him at this venue in 2002, superb show, although he forgot the lyrics in half of the songs.. Brings back some memories. Hope everybody enjoys the show!
I'm getting a mental picture of one of those on-location reporters news broadcasters love to have, where the studio anchor says "over now to Beverlard Hedgetablet who's on the spot, Beverlard what's the latest?" and Beverlard says "Well Jeremonk, the latest is that there are no new developments..."
I enjoyed the show a lot. He is still in very good voice. The visuals are creative and interesting. And the band mixes amazing veterans with newbies who add different textures to the arrangements (cello, violin, brass). Nice that he mentioned meeting Tony and recorded his first album in Toronto. I do wish there had been at least one song from 2 or 4, but oh well.
That's a nice, considered review and I like his summing up of a PG show as a combination of 'heart and smart'.
