Ant, Tony, Mike (actually not Mike please God) managed it well and I like their relatively untutored vocals, I think Steve would sound good. To be fair I quite like the layered vocals on early material and latterly Amanda’s harmonies work very well, but he should be less shy about it all. Perhaps working with Phil and Peter makes you more aware of your limitations?

New "Bandcamp Version" of I Belong To The Sky is up now. From September 2022, so maybe when it as still a contender for i/o, and just as the horns had been recorded. Really like Peter's rougher, less polished vocals on this one.

Although, Mrs B once met someone with such a strong fear of stairs she had to help them down a couple of flights, which took incredibly long and left the stairs-hater pale, hyperventilating and shaking. Also there's a residential block in Glasgow with, apparently, no stairs so you have to use the lift to travel even just one floor.
