I'm not convinced. Remember when those terrible mashups with bits of two songs was briefly a thing, getting airplay? I think someone is gonna make a popular AI song, say Michael Jackson singing a Beatles tune or something, and then there'll be a slew of people trying to replicate the success. Then it will fade out!

Not that AI will go anywhere, if anything artists using it and relying on it will become more ubiquitous.
