So far September has been really good. Sunny with a slight breeze, rains only at night when I'm asleep!...
-
-
10.10 pm here and lots of thunderstorms and lightning.
-
It was cold and snowy this Christmas but last couple of days it's been mild.
Some people are not wearing coats!.... One guy was only wearing a T-Shirt.
-
Been a lovely day in Edinburgh today although getting quite blustery now
-
Cool, breezy, partly sunny here in Bloomington, California.
-
Very cold and extremely Icy
-
Not as Icy today, just cold with snow everywhere!..
-
Very, very cold and Icy..... -12
-
Felt like -28 earlier.
Waaaaaay too cold.
-
Chilly but sunny winter day after a cold and foggy night.
-
Still lots of snow here. Very slippery as the sun melts the top layer then freezes over night.
-
Typical Scottish Highlands weather here, very changeable in a short time. The morning started with clouds and sun, then just before I started writing this it had gone very dark, windy with heavy rain. Just a few minutes later as I write this it's back to blue sky with some clouds, about 0°C.
EDIT: ....and is now very dark again and back to high winds, lashing rain and even hail. Oh hang on, now it's snowing...
...and it's now sunny with blue skies again (etc etc, I'll stop there you'll be pleased to hear)
-
Very slippery with loads of Ice and Snow.

We have a weather warning in Scotland for rain and high winds later today as Storm Dudley arrives. Scotrail are suspending most train services from 4pm today. I just hope we don't have another power outage as we did a couple of weeks ago during the last storm. Although luckily it was late evening through to about 10am so we were able to sleep through most of it! Better than some neighbouring areas which had no power for quite some time after.
On a tangent re Storm Dudley. Others in or familiar with the UK might get this: I always want to say 'Dudley' in a West Midlands accent as Dood-lay. (There is of course a town in the West Midlands called Dudley).
-
^ I presume Dudley is now upon us as we're currently battered by heavy rain and high wind. I managed to get out for a walk and very satisfyingly got back mere minutes before the rain started.

There is no wind here in Edinburgh at the moment, although the wind was very strong during the night.
