Notes: BRAND X were always more than just a Phil Collins side-project, but that period was really interesting for Phil's fans and Don't Make Waves is one of only a few tracks where Phil also sings. The album Product remains a favorite for many fans as well. Today, in 2024, three of the four musicians involved have already passed away..

  • I like the calm bits a lot, with Phil's twin harmonies.

    12.

As a side comment, looking at the cover, I wonder if the "bald scientist with the pair of glasses" is or isn't the same guy, a bit frightened, looking down at something, on the Smallcreep's Day cover ?

  • 12!

Haven't heard this inn a while, will give this album another spin today. I always thought Phil's time with Brand X was really exciting and showed another side of his work. This track is more straight forward (for Brand X standards).

    ... make tomorrow today!

  • Oh, that album. Bought this when I was quite young - and didn't understand it, so ignored it for years. Re-discovered it a while ago and now love it!

This track is good - 12/15 I'd say.
