Well my next gig was supposed to be Monday May 27 in Paris to see Steve Hackett. Unfortunately my wife had emergency eye surgery ( detached retina) and cannot fly.
Anyone interested in 2 tickets?
Orchestra Sec 2
Rang 2
Seat 16 and 18
Thanks Jeff

It was The Musical Box tonight (technically, last night) - review on the appropriate thread.
Next for me is a double-dip of Nick Mason’s “A Saucerful Of Secrets” on the 18th and 20th of April.
I can’t wait for these shows - I thought it was such a good idea for Nick to highlight the pre-DSOTM Pink Floyd. Now, I have two shows to look forward to.
BUT...before these two fine shows, it is Unforgettable Fire (an excellent U2 tribute band) tomorrow. They even have an opening act - Fix You (formerly called "42"), a Coldplay tribute band. I am a regular attendee of UF shows, but I've never seen the opener before (I'm a lukewarm Coldplay fan at best). Should be a good evening of music!

my next gig will be playing with the John Hackett Band in Sheffield!
Hope a bit of a plug for John's band is allowed (I'm the drummer).
If you live around that way, do come to Crookes Social Club on Sun 28th
We're also playing at The Robin 2 in Bilston/Wolverhampton on the following Sunday, 5th May with Strangefish.See https://www.facebook.com/pg/JohnHackettBand/events/ for more details

Joe Jackson at the Ritz in Manchester on Easter Sunday. The last time I saw him was in 1991.

...and last night’s show was a blinder! Not only was the setlist great, but Roger Waters joined Nick’s band on-stage for “Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun” - he played the gong too, like the good old days.
Another show later today!

The Who in Madison Square Garden Monday night (May 13) for most probably their last appearance there ever.
A bittersweet occasion, but I'm glad I'll be seeing it.

If you can catch one, you owe it to yourself to go. It was that good.

I was going to see them in Toronto on June 1, but then the show got rescheduled to a date that I am out of town. Hope you enjoyed the show.

Yes, I saw that! I’m sorry that the rescheduled date doesn’t work for you - I have heard it was/is equally inconvenient for very many people. They gave a cover story about a potential conflict with a Raptors playoff game, but I suspect that the ticket sales were a little slower than they were hoping for.
I also just saw that they canceled the show in Edmonton to have a 3rd show at the Hollywood Bowl instead. I guess tickets are selling better here than north of the border(?)...
