I'm flying up to Philly in a few hours. But I'm only going to Friday's show, not tonight.
I have great, expensive seats for the 2nd show. I've been very tempted to also try and pick up some cheap seats for the 1st show tonight, and see both shows.
But I've decided I'm just going to Friday only.

Excited to get to see them one last time. I really thought the 2007 tour was going to be the last-the shows seemed to have some finality to them.

If only they were playing in Philly Saturday night. Having seen them in DC and having loved it start to finish I'd gladly drive up from Maryland for a Saturday show.

Despite my earlier proclamation that I was going to skip the first show and save it for the second, I went tonight anyway. I guess I just couldn't be in town with Genesis playing and NOT be there. Found a desperate seller just before showtime and paid $80 for a pair of nosebleeds about as far from the stage as you can get. But in retrospect that is fine. After tomorrow, I will have seen the show from two very different perspectives.

Awesome that you went. Just to be in the building with the boys is better than nothing.

After seeing the Charlotte show, I will say that Phil’s vocal performance was stronger tonight.. Mike seems to be having the time of his life on stage. Lots of smiling, and interaction with Daryl. Always hard to read Tony, but he grinned occasionally.
So much fun. Crowd responded much louder to the older material than at the previous show I attended. I was suspect at first, but Nic’s drumming is starting to grow on me.

)If I'm really blown away by the show tonight, I may try to catch the Monday MSG show too. We'll see...
