Peter Gabriel - i/o: The Tour 2023

After several rumours during 2022 and also hints by Peter Gabriel himself in 2022 that his new album is nearly finished, it was obvious that plans for a tour have also been drafted. The first European shows were announced in November 2022 for spring 2023 - North American dates were announced later and will take place in autumn 2023.

Peter Gabriel will also release a new album. It's still called i/o and it has been 20+ years since he has mentioned the album first. We have a special about the process of this album - The Making of i/o. There is also a website special about the more or less complicated album release process here.

Peter said he will be playing new songs and some classics plus surprises. The band will once more feature Tony Levin on bass, Manu Katche on drums and David Rhodes on guitars. More musicians were confirmed in spring - see below. Peter now has a slightsly bigger band than usually.
