Just wondering if this will turn out to be another of those "coming soon" things that never actually come at all (the lamb box set, the first album reissue on cherry red etc)
Hmmm 🤔
Not happening for the Christmas market then it seems?

Looks as if the 5 cd box is now a 2 cd set. Burningshed taking pre-orders.
don't think this is the official release..several other versions out there already for the radio recordings
No way is that an official release. It doesn't even come close to matching what Nick Davis mentioned was going to be on the set and the artwork is so amateur its laughable!
check the cover and the "Genesis" font and ask yourself - could this be official?
No
these types of releases have flooded the marked for years already
A release on the Audio Vaults label, Audio Vaults | Rare & Collectable Music Releases | United Kingdom - this will be an official release, Burning Shed don't do bootlegs. Presumably a result of the Apollo deal. Expect more of these, that £300m isn't going to create itself.

BS have been stocking this type of legal-but-unauthorised release for some time. For which I've been both surprised and a little disappointed. (Though I guess that No-Man back catalogue alone don't pay the bills.) As Christian already suggested, this has absolutely nothing to do with the sale of the back catalogue.
The fact that Genesis sold parts of their catalogue has nothing to do with this kind of release (i.e. the Watcher Of The Skies 2CD). Those recordings have been released quite frequently over the years.
What we do know about the concord deal and what that means in technical term has been summarized here

please always bear in mind we don’t know the details of the contracts, i.e. whether or not genesis still have a veto or not.

Yes, this occurred to me about half an hour after I typed it. However, there is another consideration that should validate this release. The BBC! If it gets cancelled, we can assume it didn't have clearance. If it does, we can assume it does.
with regards the Concord deal, some more info in this article...

Thanks Christian! After looking at the information you posted, is there any confirmation of BBC material from the Gabriel years to be included in the set?
EDIT: I found a link with more info:
We have the same info in our news linked above.
1970-1998, some specific shows mentioned, but we doubt anything will be complete
also the composition of the artwork is awful. Genesis logos on the CDs don’t seem to fit the cover and content etc
Tracklist on amazon.com with some mistakes (Mama, live 1980)…

I like the artwork : it’s an improvement after RKive and The Last Domino…
Have added the tracklists in our news

if only photos, logos etc would fit the content
Don't have a problem with the CD tracklisting - fairly comprehensive and loads of Lyceum. Shame we don't get the early version of Musical Box - much more interesting, surely? Very disappointed in the vinyl tracklist. What a missed opportunity to have Shepherd and Pacidy on vinyl. Would have bought the set for them alone.
Why only 3 LPs anyway? Could have had a two volume release mirroring the CD tracks - maybe four LPs in each.
Will probably get the CD box if reasonably priced (...doubt it will be...)

The font on the cover is BBC-style lettering so I'll let them off with that. The rest does look a bit random though, to be honest.
This is great. Glad to see the couple of CAS tracks thrown in.
Edit: is this the first official release of the "Duke suite". And also, the vinyl release looks like they had to make tough decisions - the Duke suite minus TIOA?! Unfortunate.
Presumably disc 2 track 6 as listed is in fact Motherlode Lyceum 80?
Man, they are really rubbing it in about that Wembley 87 Cage medley not being made available in any official release!
