I'm sitting here in California on December 31st at 5:00 a.m. watching Australia bring in the New Year!
Even though many of the horrible aspects of this past year will be with us long into the new year, I can't express how glad I am to be rid of 2020.
I'm hoping each of us around the world will have a healthy happy 2021. Stay safe!! 
Four years ago today I was in Sydney celebrating before everybody else 
ok, together with a few others there.
A special yer has ended. But for me it wasn't too bad after all. Or let's put it this way: Due to the circumstances, it could have hit me a lot harder. I hope all of you can agree to that for yourselves ....

Had a very quiet Christmas and now New Year. With lock down and many restrictions here it's impossible to see anyone. 
Hoping a cure will happen on the Covid in 2021 and we get rid of such a stupid illness.
Hopefully everyone will stay cheerful and be optimistic on the New Year coming.

One of my new year's resolutions is to re-connect with older friends as much as possible! I will try to visit this forum at least once or twice a week!
