Currently not great for attendees at Germany shows. Would they reschedule if need be, I wonder?
Currently there is hope as it looks like regulations may just fit in time for the shows.
let’s wait for official announcements once all local regulations are clear.
Fingers crossed for the European fans. It would be a real shame if the tour got cancelled.
Part of the roof of the o2 arena is currently non existant thanks to the storm!
Well, it still exists, just in another form, as per Einstein's Theory of relativity!
German newspaper NEUE PRESSE has just reported that both Hanover shows have been approved by the local government!

And someone told me a news report stated there was now "red liquid spurting from the O2". So it's bleeding from the wound... my god, the O2 is a sentient being! I've been in that thing's guts to see gigs!
Thankfully the Arena itself has its own roof separate to the shell of the o2, so fingers crossed all will be okay for the arena to carry on.
Shops and restaurants may be closed for a little bit though.

Stigmata! The O2 is telling Genesis, in a very unsubtle way, that they really should play Supper's Ready. Then the bleeding will stop.
In Berlin and Cologne, promoters are still waiting for permissions to do the Genesis shows. Local restrictions do not allow shows with more than 6,000 people to happen indoors.
An addition to the rules in Lower Saxony have made it possible to give a permission for the Hanover shows. Now there is hope something similar will happen with the five other shows in Germany.
Everything should be okay for the o2
They have postponed 2 shows for this Monday & Tuesday which is to be expected given the still bad conditions outside, but they should get works done to secure the arena soon & shows will Continue.
What are the conditions to see shows in Amsterdam oder in England if you're coming from Germany?
Not 100% certain yet. It will most likely either be a valid negative test or a vaccination certificate.
Events at the O2 to resume from Friday Feb 25th, so all good for the Genesis gigs - phew!
Final decision about Berlin and Cologne is expected this week!
All three Cologne shows will go ahead as planned!

Great news for the German fans 👍
Sounds very promising for the remaining shows.
I'm mildly curious if anyone knows if the band has to keep "fit" in the event of long gaps like this. Do they have to reconvene to rehearse? Do they have to practice with the lighting and whole stage set up? Or can they just press play and resume like nothing happened?
Good question. I would imagine music rehearsals are probably just starting this week with stage and lighting next week to hit the ground running. Plus Phil doesn't really like to sing on his own, so it's time to get the voice in shape.
