It looks like Phil will continue his Not Dead Yet Tour this fall. There will be an announcement on monday.
Until then, we are free to suggest where Phil will be playing.

Finally some US dates!
Aha! I posted in another thread, not seeing this one, but my guess is Asia/Australia.
Lovely to see all the excitement on Twitter from fans
I was very sceptical and didn't go when he was in Germany last year. Eventually I made it to Sheffield and now I am glad I did see the show.
I would prefer a new album, though. But fans in North America and Asia / Australia should also get the chance to see him again (or for the first time)
I have mixed feelings about his currant live activities because he seems to be in such a poor healthy state. I saw a clip of a song of one of his shows from last year, which I found embarrassing. He didn`t look good and his voice was bad, too. I guess, that touring is some sort of therapy for him, what I appreciate, but I prefer remembering him the way he was 25 years ago.
He is not in top shape, but he is not dead yet.
I will see him if I can.
Very exciting! I will be there if I can!
Oh well. Keep waiting I guess.

I agree about the first part of the tour, but clips on Youtube from this year's concerts have been better, I think. Let's see how much of his vocal abilities he can still regain. One big problem as I see it is that he's sitting down, and also which type of chair he's sitting in. He sits there quite immobile and with a bad posture, which makes it a bit sad to see. Also it must affect his singing capability to sit down like that. I think that just some other chair would make him look more active.

That's an interesting thought, one that hadn't occurred to me. A swivel chair maybe?! That's not an entirely unserious question by the way, I know it sounds a bit like I'm joking!
I considered going to one of the shows. I do find it sad to see a previously dynamic performer become so static. I gather that his voice has held up well, but ultimately I always loved seeing and hearing him drum and the greatest sadness for me is that he can't any more. In that sense, music has lost one of its best players.
Our roundup of the North American tour leg is now online:

I love this track!!
Like others in the thread, I have mixed emotions about Phil touring. Obviously, I would love for him to be performing, feeling good about himself, and overcoming whatever demons he's fought the past decade. I read his book and know how fragile he is.
At the same time, charging $500 for floor seats and $200 for nosebleeds rubs me the wrong way. Phil is a very wealthy man and does not need to gouge fans in this way. (Or maybe he does.) Especially if he is performing seated and relying on autotune. Perhaps a speaking tour would be more appropriate. Or maybe it's not too late for him to rehab his way back to being able to stand.. But the clips I've seen on youtube are not worthy of the ticket price.
I'm also a bit miffed he did not bring back Chester Thompson. I get that he wants to put his son in the spotlight, but it just isn't right. His son needs to make his own mark, not play drums for his famous dad. Chester was an integral part of Genesis and Phil's solo work going back to 1977. Phil's son could do a guest song or something, but the main guy behind the kit should be Chester.

Is this true? Not seen it said anywhere else that he's ever used autotune.

From what I gather it wasn't necessarily about Nic, but about falling out with Chester.

I really wonder what might have happened after the 2007 tour to cause their 30+ years of friendship and musicianship to end!
Correction: Chester played on the 2010 Going Back shows as well.
Besides that, Nic did a marvelous job so far. Unbelievable - he is 16 and it must have been a lot of pressure for him.

I agree - he makes a formidable job behind the drums! Also he plays piano on "You Know What I Mean", which is a very moving part of the show.
