Notes: It is the only "real" composition written by Phil Collins and Steve Hackett. This unique piece of Genesis history was long in discussion for the live set in 2007, but was never realised. On the W&W bonus DVD, the song is named as a secret favourite by several people. For Daryl Stuermer, it is their best song. Blood On The Rooftops is also thematically as present as it was in 1977, but it was never played live. At least not by Genesis - Steve Hackett, on the other hand, played it acoustically several times before gaining respect with a band version in 2004 onwards. |
